Method
Prepare the Pie Crust
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pre-made pie crust in the pie dish and set aside.
Make the Filling
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture over the tomato mixture and stir to combine.
Assemble and Bake
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, spreading it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
