Ingredients
  

Salmon Patties
  • 1 lb fresh salmon fillet skin removed and diced
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs preferably whole wheat
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Burger Assembly
  • 4 whole burger buns toasted
  • 4 slices lettuce for topping
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup tartar sauce for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Salmon Patties
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, dill, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the salmon patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
Assemble the Burgers
  1. Place each salmon patty on a toasted burger bun.
  2. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, and a dollop of tartar sauce. Close the bun and serve immediately.
