pupsicles dog treats recipe

A refreshing and healthy frozen treat for your furry friends, made with yogurt and peanut butter.

Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup plain yogurt unsweetened and unflavored
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter natural, no added sugar or salt
  • 1 banana ripe banana mashed
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 tablespoon honey optional, for sweetness
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen

Method
 

Prepare the Mixture
  1. In a blender, combine the plain yogurt, peanut butter, and mashed banana. Blend until smooth.
Add Optional Ingredients
  1. If using, add honey and blueberries to the mixture and blend briefly to combine.
Fill the Tray
  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray, filling each compartment about 3/4 full.
Freeze
  1. Place the ice cube tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
Serve
  1. Once frozen, pop the pupsicles out of the tray and serve to your dog as a cool treat!

Notes
