Prepare the Patties
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until just combined and form into 4 equal patties.
Cook the Patties
- Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
Add Toppings
- In the last minute of cooking, spoon marinara sauce over each patty, then top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. Cover to melt the cheese.
Assemble the Burgers
- Place each patty on a toasted burger bun. Add optional garnishes like fresh basil and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
