Method
Prepare the Cake
- Bake the vanilla cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely.
Make Cake Pops
- Crumble the cooled cake into a mixing bowl. Add frosting and mix until well combined.
- Form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Insert cake pop sticks into each ball and freeze for about 30 minutes.
Coat Cake Pops
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, adding coconut oil to thin it out.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Sprinkle with red, white, and blue sprinkles before the coating sets.
Decorate
- Melt the red and blue candy melts separately and drizzle over the coated cake pops for decoration.
- Allow the cake pops to set completely in a styrofoam block.
