Ingredients

  • 1 (8-10 lb) bone-in ham
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Whole cloves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Score the ham in a diamond pattern about half an inch deep.
  3. In a bowl, mix together apricot preserves, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and optional cloves until smooth.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the scored surface of the ham.
  5. Place the glazed ham in a roasting pan and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Bake for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  6. Remove foil during the last 30 minutes of baking and brush on remaining glaze for a beautiful caramelized finish.
