  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Set your Instant Pot to the sauté function. Add ground beef or sausage and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in chopped onion and minced garlic with a pinch of salt; sauté until onions are translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pot.
  4. Add broken lasagna noodles and Italian seasoning; stir to combine.
  5. Close the lid and pressure cook on high for 5 minutes. Release pressure carefully.
  6. Stir in cream cheese until melted through. Taste and adjust seasonings if needed.
