- 2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Roughly chop the mixed nuts and toast them on a baking sheet for 8-10 minutes until fragrant.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil until smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup until well combined.
- In a large bowl, mix the toasted nuts with the chocolate mixture until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
- Sprinkle sea salt on top and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Once chilled, lift out using parchment paper and cut into squares or bars.
