  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1/2 cup walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth; leave some chunks if desired.
  3. Mix melted butter, eggs, and vanilla into the mashed bananas.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, sugars, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gently fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
