  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated (reserve ½ cup for topping)
  • ½ cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (plus extra for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. Blanch Brussels sprouts in boiling water for 3 minutes; drain and pat dry.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds).

  5. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet, mixing well with the cheese sauce.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine remaining Gruyère cheese with breadcrumbs and melted butter.
