  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ cup honey

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually mix in melted butter and eggs until combined into a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for about an hour.
  5. Meanwhile, mix chopped nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey for the filling.
  6. Roll out risen dough into a rectangle; spread the nut mixture evenly over it and roll tightly into a log shape.
  7. Slice into equal parts and place in a greased baking pan.
