  • 1/2 cup plain or panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili paste (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and honey until combined.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs in batches for 7-10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While cooking, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and chili paste for the glaze.
  5. Once meatballs are cooked through (165°F internal temp), pour the glaze over them and simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until thickened.
