Instructions
- Soak the glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Drain the rice and steam it in a lined steamer for 30-40 minutes until tender.
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until dissolved (do not boil).
- Once steamed, mix half of the coconut sauce into the warm rice and let it sit for 15 minutes.
- Serve by plating sticky rice alongside mango slices, drizzling with remaining coconut sauce, and adding toppings if desired.
