  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for frying)
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by washing and slicing them. Set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Assemble sandwiches by spreading the cream cheese mixture on one slice of bread, layering sliced strawberries on top, then topping with another slice of bread.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture until coated but not soggy.
