  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat. Allow to cool slightly, then whisk in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Mash fresh raspberries in a separate bowl; add sugar if desired.
  6. Pour half the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon raspberry mixture over it, then pour remaining batter on top. Gently swirl with a knife.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set; let cool before slicing.
