  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 cup spicy Italian sausage (sliced)
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (chopped)
  • ½ cup onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté sliced sausage until browned. Add bell peppers and onions; cook until softened.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add shrimp; cook until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, stirring continuously. Mix in Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Fold cooked fettuccine into the sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley. Serve hot.
