Ingredients

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • Handful of fresh basil
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. Chop garlic and cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. While the chicken cooks, boil water in another pot and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  5. Pour heavy cream into the skillet with chicken and garlic. Simmer until slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Mix cooked pasta with the sauce and shredded mozzarella until well combined. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and extra Parmesan if desired.
