- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 package (6 oz) cornbread stuffing mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried sage
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, placing them in the greased dish.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat; sauté onion and celery until softened, about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix chicken broth, stuffing mix, and sour cream until well combined. Stir in sautéed vegetables.
- Pour the stuffing mixture over the chicken, drizzle with additional melted butter, and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes; remove foil for the last 10 minutes to achieve a golden top.
