  • 1 package (6 oz) cornbread stuffing mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, placing them in the greased dish.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat; sauté onion and celery until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix chicken broth, stuffing mix, and sour cream until well combined. Stir in sautéed vegetables.
  5. Pour the stuffing mixture over the chicken, drizzle with additional melted butter, and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes; remove foil for the last 10 minutes to achieve a golden top.
