  • 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup quality tomato sauce (divided)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, eggs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, chopped parsley, and half of the tomato sauce until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf in the prepared baking dish. Spread the remaining tomato sauce on top.
  4. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached.
  5. Let the meatloaf rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
