Ingredients

  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Pastel M&M's or Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and optional M&M's or sprinkles.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
