  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 16 oz dill pickles (whole or spears)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Drain pickles and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Create a breading station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for buttermilk, and one for panko mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Dip each pickle in flour, then in buttermilk, and finally coat thoroughly in the panko mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange breaded pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  6. Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, shaking halfway through for even cooking.
