- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced
- 4 dried red chillies (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
Instructions
- Toss sliced beef in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Fry beef strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add red bell pepper and dried chillies; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Pour over the beef and vegetables; toss to combine.
