Description

Crispy Chilli Beef is a mouthwatering dish featuring tender beef strips coated in a crunchy crust, tossed with vibrant vegetables and a sweet-spicy sauce. Perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 dried red chillies (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced

Instructions

  1. Toss sliced beef in cornstarch until evenly coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Fry beef strips in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add red bell pepper and dried chillies; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Pour over the beef and vegetables; toss to combine.
